Napa County 4-H Council Officers Election
The elections for Napa County 4-H Council are now being held. All 4-H Members (14 years and older) and all 4-H Adult Leaders are asked to complete this ballot. Mail or drop off at the UCCE/4-H Office, 1710 Soscol Avenue, Suite 4, Napa, CA94559-1315 or fax (253-4434). The ballots must be received by Monday, June 10, 2013. Completed ballots will be tallied at the Napa County 4-H Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, and the results will be published in the July 2013 4-H Newsletter.

Whether youth participate in clubs, after school programs, day camps, or in other program settings, the 4-H Youth Development Program's mission and goals remain the same.
Who are we?
The 4-H Youth Development Program is a nonformal educational youth program, conducted by the University of California Cooperative Extension.
The purpose of 4-H Youth Development is to help diverse young people discover and develop their potential and grow into competent, contributing, and caring citizens. Learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based educational programs help young people enhance their leadership abilities and develop a wide range of other life skills.

HOW? experiential education ("learn by doing"); bridging research and practice; building partnerships for programming and funding; cross-age learning and teaching; youth-adult partnerships
